Aluminum.Composite.Possibility.
Aluminum composite panels (ACM, also called ACP) are two bonded aluminum sheets over a solid polyethylene or fire-retardant core. The result is a flat, lightweight, rigid cladding panel that can be cut, routed and folded into custom façade shapes — used for exterior walls, soffits, column wraps, canopies and signage.
ACM / ACP Aluminum Composite Panels
ACM is Alumshine's core specialty. We produce aluminum composite materials by continuously bonding high-grade aluminum layers to specialized PE or fire-retardant cores, which gives the panel dimensional stability and a consistent finish.
From high-traffic storefronts, hospitals and office buildings to premium residential renovations, ACM gives an architect a flat, precise surface with almost no limit on colour, texture or geometry.

Why this system.
Finish quality
Superior finish quality and aesthetics across large, flat façade planes.
Speed
Fast and precise installation from pre-fabricated, measured panels.
Climate durability
Extreme durability in Canadian climates; corrosion and crack resistant.
Low maintenance
Maintenance-free façade surfaces — soap and water is usually enough.
Design range
Unmatched design versatility in colour, texture, profile and joint pattern.
Performance
Noise reduction and thermal performance versus traditional wood or brick cladding.
Solid, metallic, wood, stone.
Solid
Solid painted colours available on 4mm ACM panels, with many popular choices stocked in various lengths and widths. Our most durable finish.
Metallic
Metallic-finish ACP for modern commercial facilities. The metallic series reflects sunlight, which supports the building's energy performance.
Wood look
Wood pattern panels give the appearance of natural wood while resisting high wind loads, corrosion and rot.
Stone look
Stone pattern panels combine a classic material read with the durability of an aluminum façade system.

How it gets built.
- Step 01
Preparation
We confirm the right panel type for the building and where panels will be installed. Before measurement, the substrate must be clean and windows installed.
- Step 02
Measurement
Because panels are custom, we take as-built measurements by 3D scanning the exterior walls or manually measuring every length and angle.
- Step 03
Fabrication
Panels are cut and folded to specification in our shop, with the hardware required for installation attached.
- Step 04
Waterproofing & sealing
A waterproofing membrane or weather barrier is applied over the sheathing, with metal flashings installed to move water away from the structure.
- Step 05
Mounting system
The mounting system is installed first — the stage that determines that panels sit safely, flat and in plane.
- Step 06
Panel installation
Panels are set, aligned and closed out joint by joint until the elevation reads as one continuous surface.
